Decarbonisation through efficient and flexible comminution circuit design
This presentation highlights the need for decarbonization in mining through efficient comminution circuit design. Current challenges include ore variability, rising energy demands, high costs, and CO₂ emissions. Traditional ball mill circuits are energy-intensive and lack flexibility.
A sustainable approach involves integrating HPGR, TowerMill, and fine screening, reducing energy use (30%), grinding media consumption (45%), and CO₂ emissions (45%). The Eirich TowerMill offers low energy consumption, high flexibility, and efficiency.
By leveraging advanced technologies, ore characterization, and industry collaboration, mining can achieve sustainability and profitability while reducing its environmental impact.
