Ms. Ainur Kapparova is the Head of the new Mining Project Management Office at the Astana International Financial Center (AIFC).
Ainur is also Co-Founder of KT Capital Group, an investment and consulting company specializing in financial advisory and strategic consulting that focuses on companies and investment projects operating in Kazakhstan and Central Asia.

Ms. Kapparova’s background includes banking and management consulting including positions with McKinsey and Company, State Street Bank and HSBC Bank in the United States, Japan, the United Kingdom and Kazakhstan.

Additionally, she is the founder of the Columbia Alumni Association of Kazakhstan, has served as the managing director of Fizmat Endowment Fund, as the executive director of the Young Presidents Organization (YPO) Kazakhstan chapter and has been featured on the cover of Forbes Woman Kazakhstan in December 2018.

Ms. Kapparova holds a B.Sc. in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from Boston University (2007) and an MBA from Columbia Business School in New York (2015).
