Alex is a mining investment banker and resources executive with 20 years of mining finance and management experience. He was the founder of East Star Resources operations in Kazakhstan and has been the CEO since it listed on the LSE in January 2022, overseeing the full development of the team and strategy and the establishment of the maiden JORC Resource of >200,000 tonnes of contained copper. Prior to this, Alex was a co-founder and GM of ASX-listed ScandiVanadium. Alex has an MSc in Mineral and Energy Economics, a GDip in Applied Finance and Investment, a Bcomm, a BSocSci, a GAICD, and is a former Captain in the Australian Army Reserves.
