Prof. Ali Mortazavi received his B.Eng. in Mining from Amirkabir University, Iran (1990), M.Sc. in Rock Mechanics from McGill University (1994), and Ph.D. in Rock Blasting from Queen’s University, Canada (2000).
He has published over 120 papers in prestigious international journals and conferences.
Dr. Mortazavi has over 25 years of experience in teaching, researching, and managing industry projects in mining, geotechnical, and petroleum engineering applications in Canada, Iran, and Kazakhstan.
