Evgeny Karshakov
Chief Executive Officer
Geotechnologies
Karshakov Evgeny Vladimirovich is a Doctor of Technical Sciences, General Director of the company LLC "Geotechnology," and Head of Laboratory No. 1 at the Institute of Control Sciences of the Russian Academy of Sciences (Moscow, Russia). In 1998, he graduated from Lomonosov Moscow State University, Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics. Since 2000, his interests have been focused on airborne geophysics. He was directly involved in the development of airborne electromagnetic systems DIP-4A, EM-4H (frequency domain) and EQUATOR (combined system: both time and frequency domains) at LLC Geotechnologies. In 2019, Karshakov defended his doctor of science work on the topic: "structure and algorithms for processing onboard measurements in airborne magnetic and electromagnetic systems" (Institute of Control Sciences of the Russian Academy of Sciences). Evgeny Vladimirovich is the author of over one hundred articles in peer-reviewed journals, several monographs, and actively participates in international conferences.
Effectiveness of airborne geophysical surveys in the search for ore deposits
Advanced airborne geophysical surveys are a key stage in the process of transition from initial searches to the stage of detailed search. Their main task is to reasonably identify local promising areas within large-scale ground geological and geophysical work and subsequent well drilling will be carried out. Examples of such work are given in Rwanda (Central Africa), the Trans-Baikal region and Kamchatka (Russia). The obtained results make it possible to significantly minimize the volume and timing of subsequent well drilling
