Maximizing Mine Productivity and Operational Intelligence with Maptek AI tools

In today’s evolving mining landscape, leveraging artificial intelligence and operational intelligence can significantly enhance efficiency, decision-making, and overall productivity. In this session, Felipe will explore how Maptek’s software portfolio can help mining professionals improve their workflows.

We will begin by discussing an advanced AI-powered tool that enables geologists to differentiate geological domains more accurately and efficiently, leading to improved resource modeling and mine planning.

We will also cover a powerful scheduling tool that enhances mining sequencing, providing both long-term and short-term mine schedules that maximize mine value and resource usage efficiency.

Next, we will dive into a comprehensive blasting solution for open-pit mines, highlighting AI-driven features within the Maptek portfolio, which helps blasting engineers optimize their blasts by balancing fragmentation quality, rock burst risks, and cost efficiency. By integrating AI into blasting processes, engineers can achieve more consistent and predictable results.

Finally, we will discuss a system designed for material tracking and optimized blending. By leveraging this technology, mines can enhance operational intelligence, minimize ore loss, make better use of their stockpiles, and maximize throughput.

This session will provide valuable insights into how AI-powered software solutions can drive efficiency and profitability in mining operations. Attendees will gain knowledge on how implementing these tools can improve productivity, reduce costs, and enhance decision-making in modern mines.
