Nikolay Radostovets is a public figure in the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Since 2005, he has been leading the Republican Association of Mining and Metallurgical Enterprises (AGMP).
He is a Member of the Presidium of the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs of the Republic of Kazakhstan "Atameken" and Chairman of the Committee for the Geological Sector, Mining, Coal Mining, and Metallurgical Industry created on its basis.
He has significant experience working in the governmental bodies of the Republic of Kazakhstan and in the scientific field.
Continuation of legislative reform in mining as a pledge for further development.
The legislative reform in subsoil use, initiated with the development and adoption of the Subsoil Code in 2017, needs to be continued.
The importance of this work was emphasized by the President of Kazakhstan at the beginning of this year, thereby raising the expectations of both potential and existing investors. Ensuring maximum transparency in access to mineral resources, stimulating geological exploration, and transitioning to global standards in taxation should serve as drivers for the further growth of the mining and metallurgical complex.
Additionally, it is crucial to ensure stability of the legal framework and predictable conditions for businesses operating in this sector.
