Graduated from L.N.Gumilev Eurasian National University (PhD-doctoral programme, speciality 6D070300 - Information Systems); University of Arkansas (Fayetteville, USA); Kazakh National Technical University named after K.I.Satpayev. Currently holds the position of Chairman of the Board-Rector of NLC «Rudny Industrial University». Experience: worked as an expert-analyst of information technologies, project manager of NCSTE; head of the Department of Software Development (Suleyman Demirel University); senior lecturer (KBTU, International IT University); head of department (Almaty Management University, Kazakh National Research Technical University named after K.I.Satpayev, International Kazakh-Turkish University named after Akhmet Yassaui); dean of the Faculty of Engineering (International Kazakh-Turkish University named after Hodja Akhmet Yassaui); Vice-Rector for Research and International Relations (Karaganda Industrial University); First Vice-Rector (East Kazakhstan Technical University named after D. Training personnel of a new formation for the mining industry: contribution to the sustainable development of the region
The report focuses on the topical issues of personnel training for the mining industry, taking into account the requirements of sustainable development of Kostanay region. The rapporteur analyses modern challenges related to the shortage of qualified specialists, introduction of ESG-standards, digitalisation of production and greening of technologies. Special attention is paid to the key role of universities, modern training programmes and public-private partnership in the formation of competencies of future specialists. The case study of Rudny Industrial University on advanced training, modernisation of the training and retraining system aimed at ensuring long-term sustainability of the mining industry is presented.
