Remi Pelon is a Senior Mining Specialist at the World Bank. As part of the Mining Unit, he has led technical and financial assistance projects in several countries aiming at improving Government management of mining.

Currently based in Brussels, he leads the unit work on Europe and Central Asia.

He holds a Masters in Mining Engineering from the Mining School of Nancy (France) and a Political Sciences Masters from Paris Institute (Sciences-Po).
