Ruslan is a Senior Resource Geologist at WAI’s Kazakhstan office with 19 years of experience in mining and exploration geology. He has worked on numerous mining projects across the CIS region. His expertise includes managing and executing exploration and evaluation programmes, production geology, designing and implementing QA/QC protocols for laboratory and analytical works, as well as mineral resource and reserve estimation in accordance with both local - KAZRC and international reporting standards.
Ruslan is actively involved in various technical projects, including Technical audits, Scoping, Pre-Feasibility, and Feasibility studies in line with international standards, JORC and NI 43-101, and Competent Person’s Reports for projects in Central Asia, Russia, the Middle East, and Europe.
Ruslan is also an accredited Expert under PONEN (MPONEN), and Report Reviewer for the Evaluation of Mineral Resources and Reserves. In this role, he reviews and evaluates reports submitted for the registration of mineral resources and reserves on the State Balance of Kazakhstan.
