Taskyn Koshman is a highly accomplished executive, lawyer, and manager with over 25 years of diverse experience in both commercial and non-commercial sectors. As the General Director of the Kazakhstan Chamber of Mines, she has played a crucial role in its establishment, significantly contributing to its founding and growth since July 2023.
Over the past decade, Taskyn has served as the Regional Director of the Canada Eurasia Chamber of Commerce in Kazakhstan, where she was instrumental in establishing the organization as a profitable entity. She also played a pivotal role in founding and coordinating the Kazakhstan-Canada Business Council, strengthening bilateral business relations between the two countries.
Taskyn holds a degree from the Higher Law Academy "Adilet" and a Master’s degree in non-commercial law. She further advanced her expertise by completing the Chevening Fellowship Programme in "Security and Diplomacy" at the University of Birmingham, Great Britain. In addition, she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Kazakh and Russian Philology and participated in the Youth Leadership Management program in the United States. Taskyn also completed a BBC/UB Experts Masterclass in Media, held in Great Britain, further enhancing her professional skill set.
