KAZ Minerals Limited (“KAZ Minerals” or the “Group”) is a high growth copper mining company focused on developing large-scale, low-cost open pit copper production in Kazakhstan. The Group operates the Aktogay and Orlovsky copper mines and concentrator in the Abay region, the Bozshakol mine in the Pavlodar region, two underground mines and their concentrator in the East Kazakhstan region and the Bozymchak copper-gold mine in Kyrgyzstan. In 2024, KAZ Minerals had total copper production of 380 thousand tonnes with by-products of 145.8 thousand ounces of gold, 3.7 million ounces of silver and 42.8 thousand tonnes of zinc in concentrate. The Aktogay expansion project, designed to double the sulphide ore processing capacity, was officially launched in October 2021, with the first customer shipments made in December 2021.
